This lecture took place in Leicester and was part of the Mufti Taqi Usmani UK tour. Alhumdulilah the turnout was excellent and the venue was filled. Sheikh ul Islam Mufti Taqi Usmani [db] rarely gives lectures in English, so we were very lucky to present this to you, so do make the most of it inshallah. In this lecture Mufti Taqi doesn't talk much about the life of Hakim ul ummah Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi [ra] but he focuses more on his legacy. He uses the ayah: "Who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom, and purify them; for Thou art the Exalted in Might the Wise". [2:129] as a foundation and then makes an ingenious analogy worthy of appreciation.
