Join me on Day 4 of my Oregon road trip as I explore the stunning beaches of Bandon, walk the biggest sand labyrinth I’ve ever seen, and get absolutely blasted by coastal winds at the Coquille River Lighthouse. I start the day with a walk from the pelican statue to Face Rock, passing sea caves, tide pools, and bright starfish along the way. Then I walk a massive hand-raked labyrinth right on the beach—an incredible, temporary piece of art. Next, I stop at Bandon Dunes to walk a peaceful forest labyrinth, and then things get wild at the lighthouse with 45 mph winds. On the drive home to Terrebonne, I make one last stop at Sahalie Falls, one of Oregon’s most beautiful waterfalls. This is one of my favorite road trip days yet—simple, scenic, and full of surprises. 🧭 Locations in this video: • Bandon Beach Labyrinth – Bandon, Oregon • Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint • Bandon Dunes Forest Labyrinth • Coquille River Lighthouse • Sahalie Falls – McKenzie River, Oregon ✨ Filmed on Day 4 of my solo Oregon road trip 🚐 Travel, hiking, and slow living from a retired wanderer 👇 Subscribe for more travel, freedom, and intentional living: / @lifeofalayabout 📺 Watch the full road trip series here: [Link to your playlist or other videos] #BandonOregon #OregonCoast #RoadTripUSA #SandLabyrinth #WaterfallHike #Vanlife #CoquilleLighthouse #SahalieFalls I’m Michelle — British expat, solo adventurer, and self-proclaimed layabout. Don’t be fooled — I’ve earned this so-called lazy life. I worked three jobs, saved like mad, and retired at 46. Then life gave me a proper reality check: I lost my best mate and mum to cancer, and cared for my mum through her battle. That’s when I started living life to the fullest. Now I live with less, travel more, hike often, and spend like freedom truly matters.
