Lyon, FRANCE - 1999/2000 Season's Grand Prix Final, Figure Skating, Men's Event - I wasn't crazy about how ABC decided to broadcast this competition. There were 3 parts to this event: Part 1 was a Free Skate; Part 2 was a Short Program. The skaters who placed 1st and 2nd after the first 2 parts advanced to the Super Final where they compete for the Gold Medal. The skaters who placed 3rd and 4th after the first 2 parts advanced to the Super Final to compete for the Bronze Medal. The rest were eliminated. ABC chose to do highlights of Parts 1 and 2, while broadcasting in full the Super Final. Commentators were Terry Gannon, Dick Button and Peggy Fleming.
