This week, I'm covering a really simple topic, which is how to level the rim of your pots if they happen to be wonky, uneven or inconsistent. I cover why this might happen in the first clay, which is mainly due to poor wedging of the clay or centring and then I discuss five different techniques to correct and fix any movement in the lips of your pottery. Together with throwing in a few throwing tips at the end, which are specifically about maintaining control when you're pulling up the walls of the pot themselves.
