While confirming Russian attack on purported American manufacturing facility in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov insisted Moscow only targets military-linked sites. Lavrov said Russia does not hit civilian infrastructure, implying that the facility in question must have been used for military purposes. He added that Russian intelligence has “very precise information” and only directs strikes at “military enterprises, military sites, or industrial facilities producing equipment for the Ukrainian army. This comes after Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Yermak said on social media platform X that the Russian Armed Forces had attacked the factory of "the largest American electronics manufacturer in the westernmost region of our country, causing serious damage and human casualties."
