Low-pressure system Volker is moving eastward, but it will continue to cause changeable weather. At the same time, a northwesterly flow will bring cooler air to Germany, making the week turbulent. This morning, there will be showers from Münster to the Bavarian Forest. It will remain dry in the northeast, but dense clouds will cover the sky. From midday, the showers will spread further south – accompanied by the first thunderstorms. While the weather will improve in the northern half, with sunshine breaking through on the Baltic Sea and in cities like Hamburg, Hanover, and Berlin, temperatures will remain cool on the coasts at 8 to 12 degrees Celsius. Inland, temperatures will be spring-like, with temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees Celsius, especially along the Rhine and Main rivers. On Tuesday, it will rain in the south, while the north will be under dense clouds. Outside of these regions, however, the weather will remain pleasant. On Wednesday, the gray will continue to spread, with temperatures dropping slightly, especially in the south.
