elec calc BIM is the product that integrates electrical calculation software in BIM. For Revit users, the elec calc BIM plugin optimizes collaboration between the two programs with the following iterative process: • Import of the digital mock-up in IFC4 format, generated by different 3D architectural software (Revit, Archicad, …). • 3D model view in the calculation software. • Single line diagram generation of the electrical installation. • Automatic and manual routing of the cable pathways. • Electrical installation sizing according to the norms. • Quick or detailed verification of the fill rate of the cable pathways to detect conflicts. • Cable tray occupancy and weight calculations.
