How to get into and out of the Leelo pole shape. The Leelo pole shape is a great one for spin or static pole and will challenge your pole skills and flexibility. You can invert up or descend down to enter this move but for me, personally, I find that a mast head entrance helps me find a more secure contact point when entering this one. But you can also enter directly from an inside leg hang. If you are newer to or still working towards being comfortable with your inside leg hangs I would HIGHLY recommend checking out the link to that tutorial below or at the end of this tutorial video.. The Leelo requires a significant amount of shoulder flexibility for that transition to that overhead grab as well as an ample amount of range of motion in both the hamstrings and adductors, so make sure you stretch out and sufficiently warm up all those crucial elements.
