Hi guys! In today's episode of BrownGirlTries, I tried out the infamous Kay Beauty foundation. My shade seemed to be 195N Deep. I found it to be quite hard to find my shade among the range simply because I felt like there were too many medium to medium-deep shades rather than deep shades. And honestly, I felt like there were a maximum of 4 deep-ish shades in the range which obviously made it very hard for me to figure out my shade. To top it off, none of the influencer videos I watched seemed to have a similar shade or the swatch of 195N Deep so I couldn't really refer it. I had to sort of eyeball it. The swatches on the website were super weird and looked photoshopped so referring that wasn't even an option. Anyway, I landed on the darkest shade and decided to do my first impressions and review of the foundation with a full-day wear test. I had work that day and the foundation seemed to hold up pretty well overall. It did break apart around the 6 hour mark but considering I have oily skin, I'd say it did really well! The texture of the product and packaging is also really good. Overall, I am impressed and it is BrownGirlApproved! But I wanna know your thoughts on the shade range.
