As per media reports, the Donald Trump administration is moving to shut down the US Agency for International Development (USAID) following discussions between the President and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk. During a live session on X Spaces early Monday, Musk said, “I spoke in detail about USAID with the president. He agreed we should shut it down.” He added, “It became apparent that it’s not an apple with a worm in it. What we have is just a ball of worms. You’ve got to basically get rid of the whole thing.
