Before animals were domesticated, life was very different for both them and us humans. Imagine a time when wolves ran free in the forests, hunting and surviving on their own. They were cunning, fast, and highly intelligent: they organized themselves into packs and communicated with each other through howls and gestures. They also had a varied diet and adapted to their environment without help. Horses, on the other hand, galloped uncontrolled across the plains. They were wild creatures, but also majestic. They moved in herds, using their speed to escape predators and surviving on grass and water. Those days were certainly full of adventure. Horses were known for their strength, and their freedom gave them a unique beauty that we can admire today in their domesticated descendants. And even in the world of birds, there is much to consider. Before they provided us with the companionship we enjoy today, birds flew through the skies, creating symphonies with their songs. They were explorers of their own world, foraging for food and nesting in the tallest trees. Nature provided them with everything they needed, and their independence gave them a sense of freedom that sometimes seems lacking today. So, when we look at our pets and farm animals today, it's fascinating to think about what they once were. Each one had their own story of survival, their own way of relating to their environment. Domestication has changed a lot, of course. They now have a place in our homes and hearts, but let us never forget the mischief and exploits they performed before joining us. They teach us that, although life may be easier with human company, there is always an eternal call to freedom at their core. It's a beautiful reminder of how wild they once were!
