Marcus Morris Career High 38 Points Full Highlights (1/5/2020)

Marcus Morris is saying all the right things about loving New York, wanting to stay there longterm, being a good teammate, all that stuff. And there's no reason to think he's being insincere. Why wouldn't he enjoy playing for the Knicks? He gets to take tons of shots, he gets to the man on offense a lot of the time, and he doesn't have to worry about actually playing winning basketball. All the losing probably sucks, but he can rest easy knowing that he is about as far from the problem in New York as it's possible to be. So, yeah, I believe it when he says he wants to stick around. But that doesn't mean that there aren't a ton of playoff teams who are looking at what he did to one of the best teams in the league and thinking "we have to get this dude on our team to bolster our bench scoring, as long as we don't pair him with his brother he won't be too much of a headcase". Perhaps they're even watching this video as we speak (Koby Altman I KNOW you watch these vids to figure out who to sign so reveal yourself you COWARD and face me like a man and hire me to make scouting vids please). What team wouldn't want one of the raddest jump-shooters in the league right now? He's playing like prime Carmelo, and he looks the part too with that gigantic orange headband. Heck, I bet even the Spurs still want him. They might've gotten SPURned (get it?!?!?!?) pretty badly by him, but as I said, most playoff teams would love to have a guy like Morris who can give you 20 ppg but also accept a smaller role in exchange for benefits (like championships, or wins of any sort). If anyone wants to offer up some trade proposals for their playoff team of choice to acquire him, comment them down below and I'll print them out, stuff them in an envelope, and mail them to Adam Silver so he can distribute them to the relevant teams. Personally, on behalf of the Bucks I offer Thon Maker and Matthew Dellavedova for him. Don't worry about it. I think this is the second game in a row where Morris just went out there and scored a ton of points on nothing but jumpers. Maybe there was a layup thrown in there, with 13 buckets it's hard to keep exact track, but I don't think so. This was a jumperfest, plain and simple, and the defining game of Morris' career to this point. Just forget about all the other Morris highlights I've made (actually, considering their view counts, I know everyone already has), because this is all you need. All clips property of the NBA.
