BSFL can help chickens lay more eggs with thicker shells, improve yolk color, and reduce egg eating. BSFL is also a great supplement for molting chickens and for supporting general health. However, BSFL is potent and should be given to chickens as a supplement, not as a feed. Give your chickens 8-12 BSFL larvae per day. BSFL can be purchased or farmed at home.
