This was the first time I've set my telescope up in the light, so I figured I'd film it to share the process with you. Because I'm not 100% comfortable with all of this yet, I was mumbling for most of the time, so I've added captions when necessary to cover important information. The telescope I have is a Sky Watcher Quattro 250P Newtonian with a 10-inch mirror. With a 1000mm focal length, that gives me f/3.9, which is nice and bright for photography, hence the P after the 250. I'm mounting it on an EQ6-R PRO Equatorial Mount, also from Sky Watcher. The telescope is relatively inexpensive, but note that the focusing mechanism out of the factory is a piece of crap. I quickly changed it for something from AliExpress, and it's great! I am also not using the guide scope that came with it, as I've added a 250mm SVONY scope with a camera to help me guide the tracking. If you haven't already seen it, please check out my Luna Eclipse timelapse video also on this channel, or at https://mbp.ac/luna
