18:50 - You didn't get this forbidden stack separating tech from me. Surprisingly effective! Still, I really don't recommend brute forcing it as hard as I did in this particular run. I went out of my way to do convoluted ways to avoid interacting with the intended mechanics (for the content). It's just very interesting to see how much you can get away with now, after ~7 years of power creep. Confliction Gauntlets are probably overtuned, in hindsight. The more mechanics you can consistently execute (1t or 2t alternating blobs & basic pillar stacks being the most important), the lower chances of you having a bad day with Lady Luck and dying. FAQ - See Gear Questions Below. 1. Triple Jad/Zuk Simulator Links? https://inferno.colosim.com/?wave=69 2. Should I do this for a first cape? Maybe if specifically paired with some motivation to learn mechanics & simultaneously have some safety nets. It can mitigate most of the skill in prayer swapping during waves, but you still need to be able to make quick decisions on where to stand after freezing nibblers. TL;DR It can be a way to "ease yourself" into the content productively. 3. Wasn't your Zuk healers proc terrible? Yes, I have no idea why I said it was a good proc, it was the most terrible way to do it! (Ideally you do it as you leave an edge so that you can tag all 4 healers ASAP). I am quite a bit rusty, criticism and flame is well deserved there. Gear Questions If your specific downgrades/sidegrades are not answered below, you are likely going to have to actually play the game to some extent to accommodate (whether that be flicking, or actually learning how to deal with a blob), or learn some mechanics. This brute force method does require quite a bit of investment if you want to meet both criteria of: A. No Flicking B. No Brain Solves Upgrades - 1. Virtus Robes to Ancestral Robes 2. Echo Boots to Avernic Treads 3. Add Falador Shield 4 4. Add Accursed Sceptre Spec for Zuk (+8-10% more DPS if it lands). 5. Swap BCP for Torva Chest Downgrades - 1. Elidinis Ward (f) to Arcane Spirit Shield to Crystal Shield 2. Eldritch Nightmare Staff to Kodai/Dragon Hunter Wand to Ancient Sceptre (ice or blood preferred). Probably need to turn off offensive prayers when 1v1-ing rangers/bats/melees if downgrading the Eldritch. Sidegrades - 1. If swapping Shadow for a Tbow/Bowfa setup and just using the magetank gear for waves, wear bonecrusher necklace + Ring of Suffering instead (or ROTG). For the ranged setup, add Masori top/bottom + Dizana's Quiver + at least 1 ranged pot as your bare minimum. If you don't mind flicking a little bit, adding Anguish is a massive boost to your DPS. 2. Can also swap Elidinis Ward (f) for an Ely, in case you're a weird iron spoon.
