The weather this spring has been challenging but I was able to catch it on a perfect day. New for 2018 are the o2 bungs with sensors connected to an LM-2 data logger. Also new this year are the Hooker Super Comp 2285 headers I installed. they had fitment challenges with my AFR265s. I did not ding a single tube but cut the column shift bracket (not used) and upper control arm bolt. I removed the steering box to get the headers in place. I was able to do it in my garage using 6 ton jack stands and put both headers in from the bottom. I had to remove the starter and bend up my hard trans lines as well. The headers were shorter than the old 1 7/8" Flowtechs. #7 spark plug is a challenge now but I like the results. I set 2 new bests and only made 2 passes as I hope to do a converter swap and get back to see if the car still trends faster. My best pass since installing this 496 is 10.61 on day 1 of racing in July 2017. It went 10.62 and some 10.66s in fall air. I didn't touch a thing from a tuning standpoint. I changed the oil to Royal Purple HPS 5w-30. pass 1: I ran 10.530 @ 127.1 MPH, 1.499 60', 6.69 1/8th pass 2:10.489 @127.47 MPH, 1.484 60', 6.656 1/8th
