Are you curios how and why Lotus hexagon kite was made? It surely took me a while... We compressed the kite making process, over 22 hours of work, into a 13-minutes video. 13 minutes is an awfully long video, too long for today's standards of social media and other internet services. However, I hope that some of you will watch it to the end 🙂 Watching short videos, reels, chopped up content, one after the other teaches our brain to function in a distracted way. This is followed by physical changes in the brain that make it difficult for us to focus on something for a long time. Concentration becomes a challenge. The more distracted we are and the harder it is for us to focus on something, the more we get caught up in the spin of easy and short-term tasks, and doing things that are difficult and take time is no more attractive. It took me almost nine months from the time I started working on the first Lotus hexagon kite, until the whole train was flown.
