Hello everyone, welcome to At-Man Unlimited. We will be taking a deep dive into thread milling, dimensioning, tolerances, CAM, and final inspection for the thread making process. We will first review the dimension of a thread and how they relate to making the thread. Then we will look at the tolerances applied to threads and what controls the fit of a thread. We will take that knowledge and apply it into Fusion 360 to generate thread milling tool paths. After posting the code I will make some sample parts with the mill.
