P&O Arvia Mediterranean Cruise | Southampton to Spain, France & Italy | April 2024

Join me on an incredible 14-night cruise aboard the P&O Arvia as I explore the beautiful Mediterranean from Southampton, Visiting Spain, France & Italy! Southampton → La Coruna → Palma, Mallorca → La Spezia, Italy → Marseille, France → Barcelona, Spain → Cadiz, Spain → Southampton Embarkation - I board P&O Arvia in Southampton, UK at the Ocean Terminal. I enjoy a relaxing Sea Day as we sail through the Bay of Biscay towards Spain. Port 1 - We arrive in La Coruna on a rainy April day and explore the city's coastline and landmarks. I return to Arvia for delicious food and evening entertainment. Then we spend two calm days at sea on the spectacular Arvia. Port 2 - We arrive in Palma, Mallorca, and wander around the city, admiring its stunning architecture, local culture, and food. I enjoyed exploring lovely local markets and beautiful backstreets. There was also a stunning sail away as we head to the next port. Port 3 - Next up was another sea day with plenty of marine wildlife to see, before we arrived in La Spezia, Italy, and take a trip to Pisa and Florence. Visit the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and explore Florence's breathtaking architecture and authentic Italian food. Port 4 - The Next port was Marseille, France. I explore the beautiful city of Marseille, with its architecture and streets to wander. Visiting the 'Palais Longchamp' with its beautiful ornaments and gardens I discover a small zoo in the gardens with no animals! Port 5 - We Docked in Barcelona, Spain next. I take a walk around the stunning city of Barcelona, taking in the Spanish culture. Useng a local Bus Tour to see famous landmarks like Sagrada Familia. Port 6 - Cadiz, Spain was our final port call. We arrive in the stunning port of Cadiz on the Iberian Peninsula. Wander through the streets, admiring the architecture, greenery, and wildlife. I found it easy to explore the city on foot, as it is very close to the ship and largely flat. Disembarkation - Then we return to Southampton, after enjoying two days at sea.
