Before starting, make sure you have the following tools: 17 mm diameter bearing extractor Plastic hammer Specific hub grease (we use Shimano Premium Grease) Brush Bearing press with 17 mm inner axle provvided with 26 mm and 30 mm bushings otherwise contact your trusted mechanic. The replace of the hub bearings requires performing the following steps: Insert the extractor inside the bearing, insert the pin and gently tap with a plastic hammer to extract it. Make sure that the bearing is always aligned with the hub, avoiding that it tilts in its seat. Carry out the same operation for all the bearings of the hub body and of the free wheel. Clean the used grease and lubricate the bearing seats with specific grease. Insert the bearings using the specific bearing press provided with 26 mm and 30 mm bushings. Also in this case make sure that the bearings are always aligned with the hub, avoiding that they tilt in their seat. Carry out the same operation for both the hub body and the free wheel Follow the instructions of the specific video at the link shown above to proceed with the reassembly.
