The Arkaba Walk - Flinders Ranges 2023

An amazing 5 days at Arkaba Conservancy doing the Arkaba Walk with Wild Bush Luxury. We walked over some amazing country, ate awesome food , drank awesome South Australian wines and shared the experience great new friends. We cannot recommend this enough. The entire team out there were sensational. Day 1 we were picked up in Adelaide and transferred out to Arkaba stopping at the Jamestown Bakery for a great lunch. We we arrived we were shown our rooms and then met our awesome head guide. Wayne, and headed out for a guided lay-of-the-land safari. Day 2 (walk day 1) we met our other awesome guide, Jess and we walked into and then across Wilpena Pound and exiting via Bridle Gap and then decended down to our first swag camp at Black's Camp where we met our awesome Camp Assistants. Day 3 (walk day 2) we left Black's Camp and headed to Elder Camp where we slept under the stars and woke with an awesome view of the Elder Range. Day 4 - (walk day 3) we left Elder Camp, crossed the Red Range down into Arkaba Creek and then back up to Arkaba Homestead for some well earned drinks and another awesome feed. Day 5 we woke early for a 30-minute sunrise flight over the Wilpena Pound. We then returned to Arkaba Homestead for one last awesome feed and then sadly packed out bags and left for Adelaide.
