Last December 2024, I went on a winter adventure in Vietnam with two of my childhood friends, exploring the misty mountains of Sapa and the bustling streets of Hanoi. ❄️🇻🇳 We chased foggy mornings, climbed steep hills, and took a scenic boat ride surrounded by mountains. From endless stairs to hidden cafes, Sapa surprised us with its beauty, while Hanoi offered the warmth of its street food and vibrant energy. It was cold, it was tiring, but it was worth it. Not everything went perfectly. We experienced delayed flights, heavy traffic, and even moments of racism that made us pause. But despite these challenges, this trip reminded us that travel isn’t always smooth, and that’s what makes it real and memorable. Even with the inconveniences, the experience was worth every moment, and I’d still recommend going if you get the chance.
