This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. He is engaged in the research and teaching of computer vision and image rendering. He enjoys teaching and one day he would love to know how to do it right. He co-founded the Click2stream company that teaches cameras – or the computers' eyes – to see and understand what they really see. He has taken seven years of training in psychotherapy and coaching. Herout maintains a small coaching practice in which he accompanies those who want to tackle themselves and the world. Above all he loves a good night's sleep, good books, and long walks. He hates himself for spending too much time in other unfortunate ways. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
