Dr. Griswold, is a Research Entomologist with the USDA Pollinating Insect - Biology, Management, Systematics Research lab in Logan Utah. Years ago, Terry welcomed me into the 'Bee Lab,' which was for me, a shrine to the Hymenoptera. He allowed me to observe a working systematics lab for many months where I learned a torrent of information. He also welcomed me to his home and showed me the greatest hospitality. Thank you Terry, for your friendship, and for the opportunity to see a real taxonomist at work. My life would be so diminished had I never set-foot in Logan's most precious, hidden treasure, and never met the wise, cheerful, bearded sage who curated that fantastic collection. I am very grateful for your kindness.
