28.04.1998 | Self Surrender | আত্মসমর্পণ | Prajnanpurush SriSriBabathakur | C.R.Park KaliMandir This discourse as Revealed to and Narrated by Prajnanpurush SriSriBabathakur begins with the revealed song “Diyo Mago Charane Tomar…”, expressing total surrender to the Divine Mother. From devotion to Realization, He unveils how all Sadhana ends in Self-Surrender, where the pacified mind reflects the Self — the very God within. On 28th April 1998, at C.R. Park Kali Mandir, Netaji Subhas Hall, Prajnanpurush SriSriBabathakur delivered a luminous discourse that unites Bhakti (devotion) and Jnana (Self-knowledge) in one harmonious truth — Self Surrender. The talk opens with His Revealed Bengali song, “Diyo Mago Charane Tomar Sopey Dite Jiban Khani…”, a song of pure surrender where the Soul offers Itself completely at the feet of the Divine Mother: “O Mother, I know not Your glory — I only know to call You Maa.” From this devotion flows the timeless Wisdom of Oneness: All spiritual practices, He explains, are only to pacify the restless mind. When the mind becomes tranquil, it no longer seeks — it simply reflects the Self, which is God. “You are the Self; you have forgotten your true identity.” He cites the story of Yudhishthira from the Mahabharata (Shanti Parva), where the river becomes a metaphor for the Self — flowing, merging, and realizing its own oceanic essence. Finally, SriSriBabathakur declares: “One who meets a Self-Realized being needs no other worship, for the Self Revealed through Him is God Himself.” This discourse is both a song of surrender and a Revelation of Eternal Truth — that Self-Surrender is the ultimate Realization Process. Nobody can bind Him to any sect, particular path or belief. Those who are fortunate enough to have come closer to Him believe that He is Saccidananda Absolute, Atman, Ishwar or Divine Mother Herself, for Her Leela has manifested in the form of Sanai on her bosom or engaged in Divine sports as Kali-Krishna or Shiva-Kali. When this Divine-pair starts playing with one another, the real game of the Divine Love starts... ‘No, I am not an Avatar. This (referring to Himself) is fully identified with the Absolute Reality, and such has no mission in life. My ‘purposeless purpose’ or ‘missionless mission’ is to spread out the ‘Science of Oneness/Science of the Absolute’ without any sense of restriction or limitation of caste, creed, dogma or religion’, remarks the Divine Master, SriSriBabathakur. More idea, however, about his life one gets from his songs-how the intense longing for Truth grew within him in early part of life-how the Divine Bhavas were awakened and how he received spiritual guidance and inspiration directly from the Divine-Self. The Master says: ‘during my quest for Truth, I could not find any proper place in search of Truth. Everywhere I noticed only big-talk, arrogance and quarrels over faiths and paths. Nobody could enlighten me. Greatly puzzled as I was then, in utter disappointment and dejection, I turned ‘inwards’ and commenced the search ‘within’ with intense longing. Then as per the instructions of the inner Divine-Self, with Its support, started accepting all beings and becomings-every manifestation of the universe-as one Absolute Brahman / Atman / Divine-Self / the Embodiment of Existence, Pure Consciousness, Bliss, Love, Peace, Absolute, and followed it with full awareness. As a consequence, I found my own Ista (chosen deity), Guru, my own Self, Divine Mother and so on, in all various names, forms, Bhavas, Consciousness, in gross, subtle, causal and supra-causal dimensions. I became completely identified with Brahman / Atman / Divine Mother with the infinite and permanent Light of ‘Oneness of Knowledge of Oneness.
