And, now that I have given you lots of warnings and chances to escape you can't complain to me later. XD SO! I've been doing the post game for a couple of days, and I was thinking about Mother Beast Lusamine and all that all turned out. In the moment, I was hype when it went into the cutscene, and I thought "Oh man, I am going to ACTUALLY fight MB Lusamine?! w00t!" ...and then I didn't. It was still a fun battle (Clefable was easy lol and the evil smirk was pretty great), but I was wondering, what would it be like to make a theme to fighting MB Lusamine herself? So I went in to FL, fooled around for a little and then came up with this. Here, I was trying to mix in the sadness and pain Lillie must have felt being forsaken by her mother for a...thing with the Strings and Violin, and then the anger and insanity of Lusamine with the Choir, Organ and dissonant notes. I even added in a little bit of a light tone into it, for contrast, and because I wanted it to be a nod towards Lusamine simply being corrupted, and not totally evil. I also went and mashed my style with UB-01 and Lusamine together in this. I didn't want the track to sound too "powerful" but I did want to give it a lot of "weight", meaning that I wanted it to feel like you are fighting not just for yourself, but for everyone who is depending on you as the last line of defense (get 'em Faba XD). And to be honest... I was kinda disappointed that the "final" track in the game, for defending ones title in the E4 was kind of lacking, so I made this with idea that you fought MB Lusamine only after becoming Champion. So the final hurdle after the final hurdle, if you will. Either way, I really enjoyed making this theme!
