The Tooltrak Reed Harvester designed for for fast and efficient harvesting of dry stems materials, cutting and bundling upto 20/25 bundles per min depending on conditions. The reaper-binder is a modified BCS harvesting head, which has proved to be a simple and reliable system used for many years in the industry. The Patented BCS binding mechanism on the reaper binder regulates the binding of the cut crop, cutting the twine when the bundle is ready. The diameter of the bundle is easily set, by adjusting the release spring tension. The hydraulically driven, grease-lubricated drive of the reaper binder is in an airtight aluminium housing. Chain and sprockets synchronize the drive components. The conveying system comprises a variable speed, hydraulically driven chain conveyer mounted behind the harvesting head, which collects the bundles and conveys them up through the middle of the vehicle to the rear platform, from where they are then thrown on to the trailed sledge or trailer.
