Spinning the Jacob lambs fleece batts into singles.

Welcome back Today we are starting to spin the singles of the batts we just created, with my Brother drum carder. The batt are close to 2oz each and the Jacob lamb fleece ran through the carder about 4 times inter mixing the batts to blend each time. The Jacob lambs fleece was acquired June 2021 and washed up using the bucket method, see the washing fleece videos for more detail. This little fleece has some veggie matter in it so I brushed out each lock before loading on the carder. Jacob is a fine fleece and is very nice to work with.
