Slush Rush is Sandslash's ability which doubles its speed in hail. While it doesn't very high attack stat (100), it does have access to Swords Dance and the high-power (but risky) Triple Axel (3 hits for 120BP total). Groundium-Z can be used in National Dex for a single high power attack with good coverage. Alolan Ninetales with Snow Warning sets hail on entry. To open, Grudge can be used to deplete PP of an opponent's super-effective Fire attack, giving Sandslash a chance to set up against its impaired movepool. Encore is used against opponents that set up, or Aurora Veil can be used to simply increase defenses for Sandslash.
