Hello friends, Welcome to Maithili Pathshala. This is the Lesson 1 in which you'll learn some basic words in Hindi to maithili like I, we, you, your, he, she, it. You will know in this lesson that what we say in maithili of those words. One thing I would like to clear you that there are many district in bihar where Maithili is spoken and in every district you will get some changes in words and their pronunciations so never get confused. In bihar many other language spoken like bhojpuri, maghi etc. that's why you will get some difference in maithili in each district because they influence by another language and mix-up in maithili. only Madhubani and darbhanga district which is not influenced by another language so in this district correct maithili is spoken. And don't worry and don't be confused because I'm from Madhubani (Mithila) so you will learn pure mithili language. One more thing you have to understand that In any language purity is different & spoken is different for eg. Hindi : you never speak pure hindi because it's so hard word and hard pronunciation so you never speak. you can try too speak people will make fun of that. why I'm telling you this because you understand that purity is different and speaking is different.
