Totally worth it. Trust me bro. Link is here: / @briefed_mythology Time to talk about one of history's most infamous figures: Shaka Zulu. Might I note that Shaka Zulu is also quite possibly one of history's figures with the single coolest name. Like... Shaka Zulu? That sounds like a wrestler, but far from just an entertainer, Shala Zulu was one of history's bloodiest conquerors. He took a nation that was smaller than 20,000 people and turned it into an African empire that left 2,000,000 dead in its wake. Shaka Zulu built the Zulu clan as we know it today (or rather as we like to remember it), but was he a great African king or just another mad, bloodthirsty conqueror? To be fair.... all conquerors had a touch of madness and a certain level of bloodthirstiness... Anyway, you'll find out in the video — and I hope I do the man justice in this often requested topic. Enjoy the story of Shaka Zulu. Not really any notes in this one, because I feel like I said it all in the video this time... convenient. The clips in the beginning are from the 2001 series 'Shaka Zulu: The Last Great Warrior' — which doesn't have a lot going on in terms of accuracy, but is entertaining and has great visuals.
