Hiya! Welcome back to the channel 💛 In this video, I’m sharing my recent short trip to Nipaluna/Hobart and what we got up-to in this beautiful part of the world.🌳 Then coming home to the garden in the midst of a heatwave, so sadly couldn't get stuck into the garden again quite yet. So to make use of the abundance of tomatoes we have at the moment, I make a herb and tomato focaccia with a bruschetta mix. If you enjoy gardening, outdoor transformations, and all things green, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more updates! 🌷 I'd love to hear you thoughts on what you think I should be planting this year and what you'd like to see more of in these videos. Whilst I was in Nipaluna/Hobart, I didn't get a chnace to visit but learnt about the threat to the beautiful Tarkine/Takayna native rainforest and was saddened to learn that there is serious threat to it and its inhabitants. Tarkine/Takayna is a 495,000 hectare region in northwestern Tasmania and one of the last undisturbed tracts of ancient rainforest in the world. It also includes one of the highest concentrations of Aboriginal archaeology in the hemisphere—traditional use of coastal takayna / Tarkine dates back thousands of years and those cultural resources are still an important part of Aboriginal heritage and culture. The area is a crucial habitat for sixty of Tasmania's rare and endangered species including the Tasmanian giant freshwater crayfish, the Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle and the iconic Tasmanian devil. Despite the takayna / Tarkine's immense ecological and cultural value, it remain. 🌳Sign the petition to support World Heritage protection for takayna / Tarkine: https://www.change.org/p/premier-will...
