About Sangeeta Isvaran Sangeeta Isvaran is an Indian #bharatanatyam dancer, research scholar, and social worker. She has been awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar - the highest national award for young dancers. Isvaran is a founder of the Katradi NGO and is noted for developing the #Katradi Method which utilises fine arts for the purpose of conflict resolution, imparting education and empowering marginalised and underprivileged communities. Isvaran collaborates with therapists and awareness platforms in her projects, for which she has been described as a ‘thinking dancer’, and she has been credited for bringing #classicaldance beyond a limited scope of aesthetic appeal. As well as founding the Wind Dancers' Trust, which utilises folk arts for educating children, she was the coordinator of the #unesco initiative - ‘Youth For Peace’ and held workshops in countries such as Mexico, Brazil and the United States in collaboration with various #NGOs. About Inner Development Goals In 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) provided a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030. However, progress is not happening fast enough, and we urgently need to increase our collective abilities to face and work effectively with complex challenges. This is why we are co-creating the Inner Development Goals (#IDG) – a non-profit, open-source initiative committed to fostering inner development towards more sustainable futures.
