Want a hot tent but don’t want to spend the $$$?? Just take a tarp and cut a hole in it. Works great!! We camped out over the coldest weekend this winter. The initial plan was to go to Buffalo Lake, but my car was not about to make it through the 6 inches of ice, so we settled for Island Campground. We made a makeshift hot tent out of a tarp by staking down the corners, pulling two ends in (for the entrance), and cutting a hole for a stove jack. In the valley the temps got to 0, and a wind chill of -17, but we were up on the mountain! #WV #wintercamping #hottent #diyhottent
