This Friday Rub clip features Jim, Garry, Chief and Damo discussing the flight up to Adelaide and the attire Garry chose to go with on the plane. He wore a very opinion-dividing green cardigan, which of course the Wolf thinks positions him at the forefront of the latest fashion trends, while the rest of them think it’s an old granny’s knit. Even the pilot gave him a knit. Garry’s happy to take all the feedback because he knows the Pack needs guidance in that area anyway, as does the Chief. He even drops New York in there, admitting that’s where it was purchased, though someone says it’s op shop stuff. Another says he looks like a teapot. When Chief asks if Jim would wear it, he admits to being “colour matched.” The boys are confused by this, and Jim explains that when you are in “our business” (of TV broadcasting), wardrobe people will determine which colours you should and shouldn’t be dressed in, based on your complexion, and Jim’s colours to avoid are green and gold, hence, he wouldn’t wear Garry’s knit.
