How Often Should You Feed Guppies? And Why Less Is Often Better

How often should you actually be feeding guppies? Overfeeding is one of the most common issues I see in home aquariums — and it usually comes from good intentions. Fish look hungry, they rush the glass, and it feels wrong not to feed them. In this video, I share a more balanced approach to feeding guppies, based on how they behave in established tanks, how their digestion actually works, and why feeding less often can often lead to healthier fish and cleaner water. This isn’t about strict rules or telling anyone they’re “doing it wrong” — just some observations and things that have worked well for me over time.
