It is projected to strike as a severe cyclonic storm with wind speeds reaching up to 120 km/h. Odisha prepared for the storm’s impact by evacuating between three to four lakh people from vulnerable regions on Wednesday. As a precaution, Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) will halt operations from 5 pm on Thursday until 9 am on Friday.
