originally recorded on 12-13-24 Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a US&S Model 95 gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. After catching Q-ATGLAC in Winfield, we continued chasing the train west, despite it approaching sunset, as I wanted to try to get it at this crossing. Admittedly, I probably should've stopped in caught it in Crews or Sulligent, or have tried to get it in Beaverton, on the east side of the Alabama/Mississippi state line, but I thought it might've come through here while there was still enough ambient light left from twilight. Thankfully, it was completely dark when it got here, but it was still quite dark when the crossing activated. Luckily, while the train was passing some vehicles with some nice bright headlights pulled-up at this crossing which helped provide some nice ambient lighting for most of the passing train. Thankfully, I'd already gotten some nice videos of the power already, lol. Anyways, here we see Q-ATGLAC for the final time, and after this we snagged some supper at Front Porch in Sulligent, AL, before I drove @EquusStorm back home for the evening. Thankfully, nothing appears to have changed to this early-2000s BNSF install since I last recorded it. I will say, the incandescent lights here do look quite nice at night like this. http://www.rxrsignals.com/Mississippi... If you like my videos, feel free to leave me a tip on Ko-Fi!
