This has never happened before! 😅

Okay, so this interaction has a lot of “firsts” for me lol 1 - It was the first time I got so excited that I literally stopped my car to yell out the window 😂 2 - It’s the first Scottish Deerhound I’ve ever photographed (and oh boy is she beautiful!) 💛 3 - It’s the first time I’ve been “cobbed” (fast-forward to 1:04 to see what I mean) 🌽 === Life is funny sometimes. This whole interaction should’ve never happened. I was in Kitsilano that day taking photos, and by this point in the day, I was totally tapped out. Hot, sunburned and virtually all out of battery. So I hopped in my car to go find food, when I took a wrong turn down an alley. And standing at the end of that alley was a horse. 🐴 (Or at least I thought it was a horse lol). That’s when I met Rachel, Marshall and Juno - their four year old Scottish Deerhound. They were just coming back from a weekend trip, and were unloading in the back alley, which Rachel said they basically never do. So it really felt like the universe was conspiring to make us meet that day. Despite being the size of a small pony, Juno is SUCH a gentle dog. She was a bit of a menace as a puppy, but now she’s described as giant teddy bear mixed with a couch potato 🥔 She’s apparently a little timid around strangers, but we became friends in no time. Juno even cobbed me! 🌽😂 This family was so wholesome, and it was such a fun interaction all around.
