Support the channel! https://ko-fi.com/citymoose Sydney's metro system is growing fast, with the existing M1 line about to gain 10 new stations as part of the Bankstown line metro conversion, and two new lines (Sydney Metro West & the Western Sydney Airport Metro) already under construction. This is all very impressive, but in this video I'm going to look further into the future, to see what other lines the New South Wales government has planned for when the current set is complete. This will include announced ones, such as the extension of the M1 & Western Sydney Airport metro to Schofields, or the southward extension of the Western Sydney Airport metro to Campbelltown or MacArthur. But it will also include some 'yet to be announced' lines that could have an even more transformative effect on Sydney's train network - such as one from Parramatta to Kograh.
