I've recently hit a creative wall with using my DAWless hardware setup so I've started making music on my iPad and now I'm considering downsizing to a more digitized environment --------------------------------------------------------- Hi friends, In the first two minutes of this video I discuss my journey away from in-the+box DAW based production to hardware synths, samplers and drum machines. And I also discuss my new boredom with those instruments and how I'm finding new creative energy in digital environments again. As an IT guy, it's not easy for me to want to look at a screen to make music, but I do have to consider the output of such a workflow. I'd like to know your opinions on this as well. Did you abandon screens? Did you revert back? Tell me in the comments. Let's have a conversation about that! After the brief discussion, I shared a new track that I made that I'm really happy with. It's kind of a Techno/Trance kind of composition that has a lot of energy.
