Building a Profitable Feed Business from Potatoes and Corn! | Szpakowo Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #10

Welcome back to the Szpakowo Farm Timelapse. We start by completing the post-sowing fieldwork, rolling and fertilizing the fields for optimal growth. Afterward, we sell strawberries to boost our funds, then patiently wait a few months for the potato crop to mature. Once the potatoes are ready, our focus shifts to the harvest. We invest in specialized equipment for potato digging, as our plan is to transform the harvest into pig feed for sale. To do this, we’ll use both our freshly dug potatoes and the corn we have in storage. To make the process efficient, we also equip our tractor with tools for loading and transporting the potatoes. Here’s how it works: we dig up a few rows of potatoes, gather and load them into a trailer, and transport them to the mixer for processing. Corn is added to the mixer along with the potatoes to create pig feed. While the first batch of feed is loading, we dig up the next rows of potatoes. With each new batch prepared, we haul the finished pig feed to the sale point.
