National Weather Service meteorologist Tom Schuldt describes the current storm heading toward Portland and the Willamette Valley on Wednesday, March 26. The system is going “to combine with this incoming weather disturbance and give us some thunderstorms, the intensity of which are very unusual for this area,” Schuldt said.
