On Australia Day, we acknowledged and celebrated the strong friendship and shared values between Australia and Tonga. We were deeply honoured to welcome 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚 as he met with the Brisbane Tongan Community. During this significant gathering, 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚 provided our community with exclusive first insights into the new Government’s 100-Day Plan, outlining the vision, priorities, and direction for Tonga’s future. It was a meaningful opportunity to hear directly from 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚, strengthen the connection between our homeland and the diaspora, and reflect on the blessings of living in Australia while remaining proud of our Tongan heritage.
