How To Bridge A Lash Gap | Lash Extension Tutorial

I’ve seen this technique floating around the internet and everytime I see it, it hurts my eyes to watch. 👀 Gaps are tough to navigate for sure but in my personal experience and opinion, this weight is simply too much for two fine natural lashes to handle when wearing traditional lash extensions. Even outside of weight, I have two other very serious concerns: 💭 ▪️1. When brushing the lashes… if there are diagonally placed extensions across the base- the mascara wand stands a high chance of hitching onto those lashes which could pull one or both of the natural lashes that is holding the ‘bridge’ into place right from its follicle, creating an even larger gap ▪️2. If these lashes are intended to last for upwards of 3 weeks, before filling, imagine how much weight would be put on the lashes as they grow… I can’t help but think that after a week or two, this entire ‘bridge’ would begin to droop down, potentially into the client point of vision. This too, putting weight on the two lash follicles that are holding everything together which could worsen the gap 👉My verdict: I can see this being beneficial if very low diameters and dimensions were used for very rare occasions and ONE day only for say a wedding or something and immediately removed once the event finishes. Personally, I wouldn’t suggest it to my clients. If my client has a small gap, I will utilize wider, lower diameter, higher dimension fans and a specific directional pattern to hide the gap and if someone were to have a gap as large as this, I would highly recommend DIY or strip lashes instead of traditional lashes ❤️ #lashextensions #lashglue #lashdrama #premadefans #volumelashes #classiclashes
