It's been a long time, and I shouldn't have left you. But this time... I'm gonna do my best to make it right. 😏✨ In the spirit of the 39th Anniversary of Thriller this week, I thought I'd treat you all with a brand new 80s remix! This time, it's 'One More Chance', a track from the "Number Ones" album in 2003, but in the style of the Thriller era! 🖤 This was started on after hearing my friend R.E.D.'s engagement to her fiancé Fantasia Catherine earlier last month. Hope you enjoy this simple release to start the holidays off! 😎🤘🏾🎄 The "Forever" era will continue! ♾ Michael Jackson - "Forever" ♾️ Out Now! • Michael Jackson - Forever (Full Album) DOWNLOAD LINK: https://mega.nz/folder/GppDWYCB#mWsg3... FOREVER ALBUM: https://mega.nz/folder/j05wDYba#BySGU... ALL REMIXES: https://mega.nz/folder/G8hhUKBZ#BQe3g... //// The original version of “One More Chance” was leaked by American producer Eulonzo on December 3rd, 2021. It was unknown this version existed. Although fans are familiar with the version that was on the “Number Ones” album, it has been revealed that “One More Chance” was originally written alongside Rod Temperton in 1982 during the tail end of the Thriller sessions, before the album was officially turned into the record label. and was highly regarded as simply a demo. It’s unknown what or who the exact inspiration was for the song. He began working further on this version with Quincy Jones and Joe Kehr handling the production. It’s unknown what or who was the inspiration for the song, but it’s rumored that it was intended to be the B-side for the single ‘Thriller’. It’s also worth noting that it contains similar elements from “Carousel”. It’s speculated that this was the initial idea for the track before it evolved into Carousel. While they all liked this version, Quincy disliked it and felt it was weak, causing conflict between Michael and Joe. Shortly after, this version, along with the lyrics, were shelved into the vault, while the Linn LM-1 drum programming and many of the other elements were used for Carousel, which was ultimately shelved as well until the Thriller 25th Anniversary release. Michael would later on revisit the lyrics of ‘One More Chance’ in 2001 and begin to revive the song itself until 2003 when he would release it for the “Number Ones” album that same year. //// Connect With Me! 👁 Main Channel: http://shorturl.at/kFJU6 Instagram: / eulonzo Twitter: / eulonzo Soundcloud: / eulonzo TikTok: @eulonzo - No copyright infringement intended.
