There is no reason for the war on fathers/father figures who genuinely love the kids in their life. This is my song to one of the most important people to ever come into my life.. My son. Biologically he wasnt mine. 5 months BEFORE birth I came into his life and took the roll as a father figure. There wasnt a moment that went by that I wasnt a part of from the pregnancy to the birth and everything in between. Held him when he was barely hours old. his mother and I both taught him his first words like one dear to me in this video "dada". I was actively involved in every aspect of his life.. Im all he has ever known as a father and I take that very serious. Worked my fingers to the bone to provide practically working 2 jobs always putting him first. I made damn sure I told (and showed) him multiple times a day how much daddy loves him. Knowing (and admitting herself) I am a father in his eyes she let her own feelings rip us apart after promising never to do just that... No loving father of any sort deserves this pain... Neither does the child... None of this song/video was made to promote my own music. This is simply me talking to the child that has to suffer for his moms mistakes. Its also for other parent figures in my position that have to suffer with this pain. If people would put the interest of the child before their own songs like this.. would have NEVER HAD TO HAPPEN...
