The strikes, however, didn’t stop at Tehran - recent reports indicate that Beirut was also impacted. -As the eyes of the world are firmly fixed on the Middle East, Ukraine is suffering intensifying attacks from Russia, with dozens wounded in Dnipro and Kharkiv, and Shahed drones targeting civilian infrastructure. -Kyiv has stepped in to assist Washington in countering Shahed attacks in the region: a team of Ukrainian experts has arrived in the Middle East as battlefield costs continue to rise. These losses, however, might have been avoided, as President Zelenskyy offered counter-drone support to the U.S. last year, an offer that was declined at the time.
