I bark graft avocado in this video. I sliced through the bark of the tree and peeled it away carefully. Then I inserted two different varieties of avocado--the Reed and the Pinkerton. Both of these are premier varieties, of the highest quality. Next I wrapped the area with a few layers of grafting tape. This graft was done in September, and it took 5 weeks for the grafts to grow out. Patience is key with grafting, and one has to remember that things move much slower in the world of plants.
