Thousands of soldiers said their goodbyes there and decades of business and vacation travelers spent so many hours swinging their feet from the waiting area benches that you can see indentations in the floor. The soaring ceilings, giant chandeliers and operating soda fountain tell the history of this amazing Art Deco palace and the many lives it touched during its years as a bustling train station.
